FAQs
What equipment do you provide?
We provide paddleboards, lighting systems, paddles, and life jackets
What should I wear?
What you wear paddling is down to personal preference. We recommend a wetsuit and booties. However lightweight, warm clothing will be sufficient. Make sure you keep your feet warm!
Is alcohol permitted?
Alcohol is not permitted prior to the tour and we have the right to refuse if we believe you are intoxicated. This is for your own safety. However both soft and alcoholic refreshments will be available to purchase after the tour.
How many staff are present?
There will be two tour guides out on the water with you, one at the front and one at the back. Our tour guides each carry: a radio, mobile phone and a first aid kit. We also have at least one member of the team waiting back on the beach; safe-guarding your belongings and being a first point of call in emergencies.
Can I rent equipment, and not come on a tour?
We don't offer equipment rentals for our lighting systems and boards. We want our trained guides to be with you to ensure your voyage goes as smoothly as possible.
However, you can purchase a lighting system from us via eBay or get in touch directly.
What if I have never paddled before?
Our tours are designed for absolute beginners. Our trained guides will teach you the easiest methods of paddling in the safety brief prior to launching. We start by kneeling down and learning to paddle, and proceed to standing if/when you are ready.
Can I book for my childs birthday?
We do not facilitate childrens' birthday parties. However we do offer tours for families. Under 18s may come on a tour with us, but only if supervised by a parent/guardian. We strictly require one guardian out on the water for every minor participating on the tour.
Can we take photos?
We can make time at the start or the end of a tour to take photos. Our team member on land will be happy to either email you photos from your trip, or use your device from the shore to take some awesome shots!
You are more than welcome to take your own device out on the water, but this is at your own risk, we cannot be held responsible for and loss or damage.
